NEW ORLEANS – The government's point man for the Gulf spill plans to meet with coastal parish officials Thursday to talk about what's next now that the oil has stopped flowing.

Retired Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen said crews are having trouble finding patches of the crude that had been washing up on beaches and coating delicate coastal wetlands since the Deepwater Horizon

Offshore cleanup should include water & fish monitoring instead of closing down quickly. The oil is still out there. Until fishmen can sell the fish & oysters they catch - what may they do to earn a living? On Shore beaches and marshes will still need clean up. With all those off shore rigs shut down, fishermen unable to work and tourists not coming - where are the many private jobs that existed before BP Deepwater Horizon blow up?
